Dr. Adrian Brozell is a well-published biophysicist and electrical engineer with more than 17 years of experience working at the intersection of science and technology. He graduated with his PhD in Biophysics form University of California at Davis. His dissertation, “Wetting and Emergent Properties of Complex Fluids on Planar Colloids Crystals” was comprised of four first-author publications in journals such as Nanoletters and JACS.
At zNano, he leads the company from concept to product and been an inventor on three patent applications and four patents pending. This technology has been the basis of a funded, ongoing collaboration with NASA Ames since 2011, a 2014 Edison Award Silver Medalist in the Commercial Resource Management Category, and a 2016 Silicon Valley Water Award: “Most Innovative Company.”
He has been invited to speak at numerous ACS conferences and at the prestigious 2009 Northern Illinois University Physics Department Spring Colloquium. He was a business development fellow at the UC Davis Graduate School of Management.
